RE: [pct-l] GoLite Pack



An interesting test would be to hike a specific hike with 30 pounds in a
Golite rucksack, then hike the same hike, with the same weight, with a pack
that transfers all weight to the hips. [A Jansport Yosemite external for
example.] Dick Kelty, who invented the hipbelt, would say that the stiff,
external pack would allow persons to walk longer. Ray Jardine would
disagree.
