Staying true to my " heavyweight " approach of hiking , I am working on
builting the heaviest homemade alcohol burner know to man. Design will call
for use of a "Yuban " 3 pound coffee can instead of the customary tuna fish
can, but will be able to hold a complete canner of peaches when built. Stove
will burn 1 quart of fuel per hour, boil a quart of water in 5 minutes and
need 2 men and a small boy to pack. I,m shooting for a 2 pound dry weight
when complete. ( Can also be used as a smudge pot to keep small fruit trees
alive in cold weather ) This will be the Mother of all Alcohol Stoves and
should be able to complete with the fame " XGK " when boiling water. As with
the XGK, simmering will be just a dream ( as in no-way ) Come see the "
Largest Alcohol Stove " at kickoff party!!!!
