[pct-l] Re: 2nd ADZPCTKOP

May I suggest that all PCT section and thru hikers that have hiked a portion 
or all of the trail recently (ie. in the 1990's) seriously consider attending 
the 2nd ADZPCTKOP to contribute their experiences to those that will be 
attempting in the year, 2000.  Last year we had a lot of old farts giving 
poor advice to all of the high tech, ultra low weight rookies who were 
comparing their gear with each others and wondering if any of it would work 
and therefor be worth carrying.  

Hmmm . . . on second thought, stay home so us old farts can sell the new 
rookies on our old heavy and slow, start early, finish late, low miles per 
day strategy!  Besides, it will be more beer for all of us to consume!  ;-)

planners will have some kind of idea of how many people are likely to be 
showing up.
