Although it wasn't written in the townguide and others suggested there was 
nothing there,  I found that the little store in Onyx was more than adequate 
for a resupply the fifty miles or so to Kennedy Meadows.  

The first car that drove by picked me up on the hitch in and out of town, 
tough to beat those odds.
