Re: [pct-l] a strange question
I notice in your definition:"hiked all the way", there is not a qualifying
clause that says that you
can't do something else or go somewhere else along the way. If there were
such a clause, it would be impossible to resupply. Every diversion away
from the trail is however time out of that on the trail and may make it
more difficult to cover the miles IN ONE SEASON in order to make it to
Canada and become a thruhiker. As Meadow Ed said this spring"Everybody is
a section hiker until they get to Manning (S to N)"
