Anyone who is interested in studies "by Doctors " on the affects of DEET, can 
go to the Cornell University Web page by just typing in "DEET" on your 
browser. Or call 607-255-1866. This page has over a dozen studies on the 
affects of deet on animals, children, troops you name it. One study was done 
in Everglades National Park with Park employees by McConnell et.al 1986.  The 
page is a minefield of the affect of deet on people, including dead kids with 
enlarged livers, employees with numb lips, skin rashes, rabbits with pus 
covered cloudy eyes, even mental disorders caused by deet. This page says it
