[pct-l] Barrel Spring's Pipe

        I was out at Barrel Springs this past weekend and noted that someone 
had cut off the pipe that feeds the cattle trough and placed a fitting with 
a standard garden hose on it. Unfortunatedly the garden hose connection was 
pointed straight up and the weight of the water in the hose pulled the hose 
over into a crimped position and shut off the flow of water from the spring. 
So there is no water flowing there now and I know of some PCT hikers that 
were planning to hike through there soon. It is too bad that they won't have 
fresh water.

        Do any of you know who placed this fitting and the hose on the pipe?
