I heard about some people in tropical climates making bamboo plywood that
has been shown to as strong as steel in support and yet lighter and great
for resistance to hurricane forces.  Bamboo, being the fastest growing plant
type in the world seems to make a lot of sense as a material for
construction.

Anybody know where I can get some?
