[pct-l] Filters on the long haul/WA conditions



I used an MSR filter, which  seemed to get plugged up with silt fairly
easily. But it's pretty easy to clean. Sometimes I was cleaning daily.

The Washington sections north of Snoqualmie Pass are nearly snowfree. The
only problem area is at Fire Creek Pass, which you can scramble around.
Let's hope the good weather continues up here!
