[pct-l] law?

Just for clarification that may be of use to some, reynolds@ilan.com wrote:

The law requires "proper food storage". Between Forrester Pass and Glen
Pass this means bear canisters or bear boxs."

I just camped in west of Kearsarge (Charlotte lake) and talked with a
ranger while he looked at my hang (that held up against a bear climbing the
tree). That is still considered proper food storage and is not illegal
west of the pass. So, canisters and bear boxes are not the only legal,
workable alternatives.
