Dear Richard,
Yep. I got one of those submersible thingies. It's called the subPack.
They have a website www.thesubpack.com. It worked for me, because the bears
had no idea my food was hanging over a ledge suspended in the lake. but
there was some leakage, and if I didnt have my food in ziplocks inside the
subPack, it would have been very messy. I think they're working on a
no-brainer foolproof waterproof closure for next year.
Keep on truckin

Yup--bears just wanna eat and get fat and take care of their young

time to move on I think, to something else...we have laid
all the "bear facts" out for everyone to see...just be prudent with you
food--
there is a new submersible thingy I saw-- maybe that was here? You put
all your food in it and stick it under water..seems like it might
work as we all try to stay near water..
