The cables that I used to see would work very well IF some sort of shield
was placed 10-12 feet out from the tree. Otherwise the bear simply vibrates
the cable from one end. The vibration sends the bags towards the other end
where the bear can retrieve them. Bleeping clever of them eh? Still cables
get around the cost of bear boxs. We ought to be using them.
