I have found there are no two sets of feet that are the same. Many people
find that tough and callused feet are the way to go, some even going
barefoot and using skin toughening tricks to make their feet more rugged and
tough--and it works for them. Then there is the second set of folks who have
found that their feet do best when their skin is soft and pliable. They use
creams to get rid of the calluses and keep the skin as soft as a baby's
bottom.

IMHO we each have to find what works for us. Sly is right, try it and see.
There is not one set of answers. And that detemination has come from
hundreds of interviews with folks whom use their feet as their primary means
of transportation.
