[pct-l] Report on Yosemite

Hi- I just returned from a week in Yosemite. The JMT/PCT has patches of
snow in Toulomne Meadows and is very muddy in other parts. I did not go
into Lyle Canyon or go over any of the passes. I would suspect there
have a lot more snow than TM right now. We did some postholing on the
trail..not too bad. It was supposed to be 78 degrees in the Valley
today. The rest of the snow ought to be melting fast. They have already
had 92 bear incidents in the park this year. Every backpacker I talked
to had a bear cannister or the group had one.
