[pct-l] Crampons

When I say strap on crampons, BJ, I mean 12 point strap on type and not the
special rigid ones. Also I said " May " have prevented a fall. Anyone can
still fall and die with a ice axe and crampons. My point is you need to to
have these ( and knowledge of there use ) when traversing steep snowy and icy
slopes. The hiker would be better off with these items than than he was
without. And of course, there is no equipment better than judgement and ex.
Sorry to upset you Bj, hope this clearer things up for you
