[pct-l] pots and pans

Namaste....
....namaskar -- to a respected elder

After three days of fuss, I got the modem on my palmpilot working and
can check my messages all summer -- also sent journals to n2backpacking.
Now all I need to fuss with is my acoustic connector. I feel weird about
it because this fragile little piece of technology is now my most
expensive item of gear,
and it doesn't help me survive in any tangible way.

I would appreciate messages through the summer from other hikers
from this list, but be sure and keep the messages reasonably short
'cause the Pilot can only accept messages under 4000 characters (PCT
digests are usually much longer, for example.)

I could see the Sierra yesterday (one out of maybe ten days a year
due to Sacramento smog and Sierra storms) and there's a LOT of snow up
there still despite the lower snowpack.

Note on the cooking pot string -- the non-stick pots cost a little more,
but after scrubbing black burnt on shit off my aluminum over and over,
I'm ready to spend a few extra.
