[pct-l] End of hike send-off party

I'd like to announce the 5th (I think) Annual End-of-PCT Send-Off Party
sponsored by ALDHA-West.  It's being held this year at the Mazama Lodge,
near Government Camp, OR, October 1-3.  Actually, ALDHA-West calls it their
"Gathering" but I don't think they'd mind it being coopted since it has
goals similar to those proposed for a Manning Park party: slide shows,
fellowship, workshops, gear discussions and reviews, etc.

This year's setting should be awesome and the very modest fees cover meals
and lodging.  It's a little far from Manning Park, but the function has
always been a lot of fun and a great way to get together with others who
care about long-distance hiking.  Thru-hikers get lots of attention! ; - )

Beauty is, most thru-hikers can make it (schedule-wise) so why not plan on
