I would really like to do a 7-10 day trip on the Pacific Coast trail this summer.  I'm very flexible as to time and location. Would prefer female companion, 40ish who loves backpacking. Any interested parties please respond.  

Also, I've heard that Tyvek home wrap makes a great lightweight ground cloth.  I live in the Las Vegas area (please don't hate me for that) and can't find it anywhere around here, probably due to the fact it isn't used much in dry climates.  Anybody have any local sources?  I would be happy to send a check in advance if anyone can procure a roll.  Thanks.
