RE: [pct-l] Slippery Floor

That is what is recommended for seam sealing Stephenson tents as well. The
recipe is:

(1) Find a 3oz tuna can
(2) Add paint thinner to, say, the 1/4 full level.
(3) Add clear silicon caulk (GE Silicon II works well
according to Jack Stephenson) until the solution is
at the 1/2 full level (double what you started).
(4) Stir like crazy. Paint thinner will dilute the
caulk but is not a solvent for it, so getting the
stuff mixed up takes a while.
(5) Paint it into the seams with a small, disposable,
paint brush. I think I used a 1" trim brush.

This stuff is specific to the silicon impregnated fabric. Regular seam
sealer WILL NOT STICK. And I don't plan to try this recipie any of my non
silicon gear either.
