Jack Stephenson and Kurt both suggest cutting  silicone caulk with paint
thinner and laying several thin ribbons of the solution on the tent floor.  I
think Kurt also uses the stuff as a seam seal.  He had the junk in a clear
squeeze bottle with nozzle, the type you see at restaurants for catsup or
mustard and applied it to a floor at the Ruck in Pennsylvania earlier this
year, for an AT hiker that had just received his tent.

Solution, stuff, junk, I don't what you call it!  If he was lurking and not so
busy sewing he may have been able to tell us himself!  ; )
