That's what I've planned on doing and hauling it around in a heavy Dana.

Hiking long distances day after day in certain sections (20 to 30 a day) is
somewhat foreign to me, only having done 4 20's in my life. It's definitely a
matter of attitude and a matter of style.

When I'm going good, which I believe I can on much of the PCT, the trail will
move under me. Also know as, being in the "zone".

Thru-hiking the PCT, a long trail with a certain window of opportunity,
creates certain sacafices for the hiker. Either you accept them or you get
off. Running out of money, serious injury or horrid weather conditions have
their own asterick.

I have no intentions of emulating Ray Jardine.
