Maybe the newer propane /butane stoves have fixed some of the early problems.
My main concern is the achellies heel of most canister stoves, the conection
between stove and canister. Also in cold weather, the propane in blended fuel
stoves, burns off faster than the butane leaving only butane in the last of
canister. This is no problem in desert and their lightness is great, but I
would still trade for a white gas in the snow. If you have two stoves, you can
have the best of both worlds , mail the white gas to weldon ,then mail back
butane later.
