The ALDHAW Gathering is held the first weekend in October. 

This year it will be held at the Mazama Lodge (

We are getting a discounted rate. The rates and other gathering
information will be posted on the ALDHAW web site later this spring.

		Although at times, I'm thinking of a pure (not so pure)
northbound thru-hike.
		I may very well be meeting trail friends to do certain
sections and flip
		flopping around.  Most likely, I'll have to slow down my
mileage in doing so. 

		I'm curious, if I leap frogged from California to
Washington, would I be able
		to do the Oregon section in the month of October?

		And just where and when is the Gathering West in '99?
