That would definitely solve the inherent fire risk. From the
pictures of Thailand that I saw on the news I'm assuming that it is very
wet there. I also saw a flashlight that you could "set to stun" and it
would strobe so brightly that it allegedly would dissuade and aggressor.
I don't think this would work for animals because of what I've seen from
biologists studying animals at night with a very bright spot light. They
freeze and stare momentarily but then just seem to go about their
business.
Hmm... I wonder about one of those screamer things though...
interesting possibilities... all of these methods of course could lead
to dissatisfied neighbors :-(
