Yep. Can't tell who is right.

Back when I was learning to fly an airplane I had  a check out instructor
with me. Looking at the instruments I was having trouble figuring out where
I was. She let me struggle for a while then advise me to look out the
window. El Toro Marine Base was obvious and I knew where I was in an
instant!

You best instruments are the ones God gave you!
