has anyone tried the "inverted second can" over a trangia burner? i think
i'm going to try this:
get a can about 2x the height of a trangia. cut both top and bottom off.
cut can-opener tabs around both rims. this should function as both a
windscreen and pot stand, while being more compact and lighter and simpler
than seperate versions of both (i have the westwind stand and use it with
an msr screen).

i just rattled that off the top of my head. i'll try it this w/e. any of
you homemade 'experts' have any comments?
