Probably true . . a book on bears and bear canisters is not a money maker.
Thta's why I offered to pay all the up-front costs for the NPS. I have no
hopes for Garcia. I sent them a writeup on why they shouldn't hang the
canister. No effect.

In fact, my experience as an author indicates that books don't make money.
