[pct-l] Bears North of Tuolume?

Who would have thought that this thread could be so hilarious. I would love
to hike with you guys, your a stitch!  Yesterday I learned what <ROFL>
means (Rolling on the floor laughing), and that's what I have been doing on
a lot of these posts.

AAR, everybody has been talking about the -LAND SHARKS-between Red's meadow
and Tuolume.  What about North of Tuolume.  I have only been up in that
area a few times but I didn't have any bear problems there.  Why is the
bear problem so bad on the south side of the highway, and less on the
Northside.  Just more popular, more traffic? Smarter bears?
