SomeJansport external frame packs have a swingarm suspension system that is
similer to the old wrap around frames from A16 and Stephenson [Stephenson
does not show his packs in his catalog so I assume that they are
discontinued. Having used this type of suspension I am unsatisfied with any
other. A new pack costs about $180. I have smaller d-5 model that my son
has outgrown [suitable to 5-7] that I can let go.
