RE: I've seen the Bakepacker in action, and it is wonderful.  But I've the
powdered ingredients **weight** plus the clean up effort was a bit more
than my
lazy butt would deal with after a long day.  I found making mini pizzas in
the oven among my favorite.

Which weight are you talking about. The weight of the Bakepacker? The
weight of the cake mix and egg? Or the weight you gain eating cake in tthe
mountains? (:

Seriously, since you can scramble eggs in the bakepacker as well as cakes,
muffins, cornbread and naturally pizza  I thing the weight is justified.
Most people carry much heavier interesting foods [No chocolate cake -- need
candy bars man-- gotta get my chocolate fix somehow]. Plus -- you know what
1/2 a chocolate cake can buy  you at Benson Lake? he, he, he . . . .
