[pct-l] Sleeping quilt

Hey All,

So I looked at the plans for Jardine's Sleeping Quilt.  He mentions
a foot pocket zipper type object, but never talks about what it zippers
to exactly.  
Anyone ever construct one of these or seen a facsimile and could help me
visualize this?  Also, my trip partner, Mike, and I are still
mulling over 
individual bags or constructing this quilt.  Hearing some personal
experiences with the quilt (if any) would be greatly appreciated as
well.
