[pct-l] Planning stages

I am just now considering the possibility of a PCT hike. Everything seems
to be a big 
logistical mess right now. I'm sure that the pct-l will help me get all
my loose ends together!  
I was on the atml but there was too much attitude there for me. Since I
hadn't been on the AT I was considered to be a hiking novice.

Enough said about that ... I just signed on and read about tyvek. Have to
say I dont know that much about it. How durable is it ?   I tarp
alot....could I use this instead?
would it hold up??
