[pct-l] Socks
The Smart Wool socks have been wonderful for me. I get the second from
heaviest pair (can't remember what they're called). I only have one pair of
these so far, but they're always the first socks I choose to take. I like
that they fit my feet snuggly (As Thoros don't).
As for liners, I wear them backpacking. I bring extra liners and change them
and wash them more frequently than the outer socks. (When I haven't worn
them on day hikes I've gotten blisters on the bottoms of my feet. But then
again, I also wear a different pair of boots dayhiking - whether it's the
boots or socks I don't know.)
