Subject: Mt. Rainier

Hey there-
        I was wondering if anyone has climbed Mt. Rainier during a
through-hike?  A friend of mine climbed it last summer and really
recommends that I try to do it on my way Southward.  I have tons of
questions.  Can I hike to it?  Should I go with a guide and a group?  How
much do they cost?, etc.  I would appreciate any news heard through the
grapevine or picked up first hand.  Thanks.
