[pct-l] 700 Club...

I took a hike from White Pass to Snoqualmie Pass last week and met one
fellow, Jake, from Redmond oregon, who had flip flopped.  he said most of
the "700 Club", the distance from Campo to Kennedy meadows, where apparently
most flip flopped, were ahead of him.  He also related a story where he told
a group of hikers he was part of the 700 club and they got all ecstatic
until they found out he wasn't part of the Jimmy Swaggert, or whomever's,
empire.  He also talked about jumping from "pod" to "pod", a nice image of a
moving mass loosely connected.
