This reminds me of a joke I once heard:

How does one tell a "novice hiker" from an "experienced hiker?"

A novice hiker steps over or around "horse apples" ...

An experienced hiker steps on them because they are 'softer than the trail.'


Perhaps there is some good in everything if we just look for it ...
