Thanks for the info. Every piece of data I get helps me with a picture of
the Sierra. I crossed Donahue Pass in snow once. Not fun. When there was
zero snow in Tolumne the pass was covered from 11,300' up. So, even at 6"
per day mely [and currently it is only 3-4"] it will take 40 days -
probably more - to clear at Upper Lyell base Camp.
