[pct-l] On the Trail Again ...

Hikers,

After an absence of three weeks, Scott & Beth Murdock (from Portland, OR) are
on the PCT again. They entered the trail today about 2:00pm at the Fuller
Ridge / Black Mountain Road area. They were last seen hiking north on the PCT
towards Snow Creek.

The snow level at the north end of Fuller Ridge is at approximately 7,000
feet. The PCT crosses Black Mountain Road at 7,600 feet.

After seeing Scott & Beth safely on the trail and hiking away. I talked with a
Ranger at the San Jacinto State Park Ranger Station in Idyllwild. He said he
still advises PCT hikers to bypass the Saddle Junction / Fuller Ridge route,
going instead to Black Mountain Road before continuing their hike north.
