There is a low elevation route between Mt. Whitney and Yosemite called
the Theodore Solomons Trail. It is described in a guidebook by Dennis
Gagnon. Its elevation range is 5,000-10,000 feet.

Another storm coming through today. Snow level down to 6,000 feet in the
Sierra Nevadas.
