[pct-l] Barrel Spring Update

Class of '98,

I was at Barrel Springs again today (Friday 4/24). Water still does not run
into the trough, but someone has added a sign "Barrel Springs 100 feet" (by
the Baby Blue Eyes and Western Wallflowers) with arrows pointing from the PCT,
up the road towards the spring. I checked the spring itself; it's still
running and overflowing down the hill. The resident frog was not resident
today. :^)

Northbound hikers (most are) will come upon the sign before they reach the
trough anyway. If you need water (and who wouldn't after a dry 24 miles from
San Felipe Creek?), head on up the hill and break out the filter.
