[pct-l] Tahoe-Yosemite trail

I am planning to hike from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite Nat. Park during the
first two weeks in August. I have bought a book by Thomas Winnet that
describes the trail in detail. According to him, the PCT and the
Tahoe-Yosemite Trail are separate trails, but I have heard from others
that they are the same. Does anyone have any information about this?
