I have a book called "A Pacific Crest Odyssey, Walking the Trail from
Mexico to Canada" by David Green.  It was copyrighted in 1979, publisher
is Wilderness Press, Berkeley.    I seem to recall someone once telling
me that the author didn't really complete the entire trail as indicated
in the book.  Not sure and my apologies to the author for even spreading
this rumor.  I bought the book back in MN many years ago.  Hope this
