My dad and I hiked Oregon last year and we met up with people hiking
southbound. We passed them in the middle of Oregon and they told us they
spent most of Washington in snow, ice axes in hand. I'm not sure if the N.
Cascades are worse than the Sierras, but your probably going to run into lots
of snow either way. Have fun!
