I am not a medical or disease professional, but I believe this is not
the case. Human feces contain organisims that are adapted to the human
gut, and so are much more likely to spread those organisims (both
benign and dangerous) into other humans. Animal feces (for the most
part) contain organisms that are not likely to find humans a desireable
habitat... but there are some significant exceptions: Giardia
can be spread by beavers.. hence one of it's popular(?) names:
"Beaver Fever"
