No Subject

I met Charlie and Tony Thorpe on the PCT in '95 in Agua Dulce while I was on
what turned out to be a long section hike for me.  We hiked together on and
off to Kennedy Meadows.  Charlie and Tony did reach Canada after flipping
around the Sierras, and they returned immediately to the complete the
Sierras just before the snows fell.  They did quite well, as you would
expect.  I think the worst thing that happened to them was getting giardia
somewhere south of Kennedy Meadows.  They were two of the very few who
completed the entire PCT in 1995.
