In 1995, my husband and I did a day-hike along the PCT near Palm Springs
and met two hikers, a father & son, bound for Canada. I've thought of them
often since then and wondered if they made the border.
The son's name was Tony, and I believe the dad was from Huntsville,
Alabama. They said they'd through-hiked the AT together as well.
If this sounds familiar, I'd like to know if they made the border. Thanks.
