I'm not too embarassed to ask: What kind of a question is this anyway?  :)
No, you can't have sex on a thru-hike because 1) there's just too many
people out there - someone will undoubtedly find you in the act, 2) there's
no way to head off the trail a bit either, because everyone's stealth
camping these days, and 3) tents, just like polypro, are semi-transparent
when wet.  Oh, and 4) the woodland creatures might get confused, what with
all the solo male thru-hikers out there...
