[pct-l] Driving to VVR

i'd like to meet a friend doing the jmt in a couple weeks.  how easy is it
to drive to Vermillion Valley Resort?  i've browsed the map, and it looks
like hwy 168 goes up into the foothills then turns to a dirt road (FS?).
is vvr signed well?  how easy is the dirt road?  any info is appreciated,
hope to be up there w/e july 19.
