Greetings,
It is my understanding that the PCT is for human, horse and stock
traffic only. I don't believe that mountain bikes are currently allowed
on the trail. I have heard some discussion about changing that but
nothing concrete has been published...
I live in Marin County, CA (home of Mt. Tamalpais) and sometimes the
relationship between mountain bikers and hikers gets a bit, uh, strained
to say the least.
