For all who are interested and live in the SF Bay Area, Deborah Brill and
Martin Place (two '96 PCT thru-hikers) are presenting slide shows of their
hike at the 4 REI stores in the Bay Area. Unfortunately, two shows have
already taken place - but there are two to go.
The first will be presented at the Cupertino store on June 17 at 7 p.m. and
the second at the Concord store on June 30 at 7 p.m. I attended the June 5
show at the Berkeley store and really enjoyed their slides (brought back a
lot of memories of my '81 hike).
